(Nashville, Tennessee…) – October 16, 2008 – Less than two weeks before Randy Owen's debut solo album, One On One, and his autobiography, "Born Country," hit stores on November 4, the lead singer of the legendary group Alabama will roll up his sleeves and join The Big 98 WSIX in Nashville for USA Weekend's 18th Annual "Make A Difference Day" on Saturday, October 25, 2008.

He will visit as many sites as time allows to clean, paint, hammer and encourage the volunteers.

At the conclusion of the projects, Owen will perform a concert in the Hall of Fame Park in Downtown Nashville. "The Big 98 WSIX Make A Difference Day" volunteers will be admitted free, and tickets for the general public will be available at the gate for a suggested donation of $5.00.

Anyone interested in filling one of the 200 available volunteer slots are asked to register online at WSIX.com or on the Hands On Nashville website HON.org.
